VIDEO: I wish I could get food to eat – 2nd Runner-up of TV3 Mentor 4 speaks after 10-years in Psychiatric hospital

Angel Blessing of TV3 Mentor fame has disclosed in a latest interview that she’s unable to cater for herself now.

Born Angel Akuamoah Boateng, Angel was the 2nd runner up in the 2008 edition of TV3 Mentor when it was the hottest music reality show in the country.

Despite the fame and talent development she got from Mentor, Angel Blessing couldn’t become a mainstream musician as she disappeared from the media space.

In latest interview on Obibini Tv, the 2008 Mentor 2nd runner up disclosed that after the show she was diagnosed of mental illness.

She added that she spent 10 years at the psychiatric hospital with her children taken away from her.

I could not do anything for myself. I spent time at the psychiatric hospital every single year for 10 years. I was taken away from my children and I still long to meet them,” she said

She added that she has no work now and can’t even afford ends meet.
