Video: Ghana Black Meteors beat Algeria to qualify for Africa U-23 Cup of Nations
The Black Meteors of Ghana has qualified to the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations slated for November 8 – 22 2019.
The team had a difficult task of going past Algeria in the playoff tie. The tasked became more daunting after drawing the first leg 1-1 in Accra last week.
With the underdog tag, Ghana Black Meteors managed to beat Algeria 1-0 in Algiers to make the aggregate scoreline 2-1 in favor of Ghana.

Captain of the team Yaw Yeboah who missed a penalty kick in the first leg became the hero in Algiers as he got qualification goal from a brilliant solo run.

Other teams to have qualified for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations are Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mali, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and host Egypt.
