VIDEO: Appeal Court Changes Akuapem Poloo’s 90-Days Sentence To 120 Million Old Cedis – Manager Confirms

Manager of Akuapem Poloo has confirmed that his client has been fined by the Appeal Court.

Kofi Amoabeng spoke on Neat FM’s Entertainment Ghana to confirm news that the socialite won her appeal case.

According to the manager, their lawyer argued that Akuapem Poloo is a first offender and the offense happens to be a misdemeanor.

They explained that the High Court had the option of choosing between a fine and prison sentence but they choose the harsher one.

The lawyer, Andrew Votia prayed that the court change the ruling to a fine which the Appeal Court did.

Instead of the 90 days sentence, Akuapem Poloo has been given a fine of Thousand Penalty Unit which is 12,000 cedis.
