Video: 3 SHS students forced to eat raw stolen chicken; teacher and 3 others arrested
The Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested four people who forced three SHS students to eat raw chickens they allegedly stole.
The four arrested people include a community police assistant and a teacher.
The three SHS students of Akomadan Senior High School were about to cook the fowl they allegedly stole in their hideout when the suspects pounced on them.

They then threatened them to eat the raw chicken lest they report them to the school authorities which could lead to expulsion.
From the video, the frightened students chew the raw chicken with water to ease the eating.
According to the Police, the video of the incident being circulated around caught their attention.
The District command on the instructions of the Regional command investigated the issues which led to the arrest of the four suspects.
“We investigated that piece of video footage and it happened that it was coming from Akomadan so the Regional Police Commander tasked the District Commander to initiate investigations into alleged assault on these students” ACP Ahianyo said
“When you watch the video, you realise that two of the students were in handcuff so we then knew that it could either be a policeman involved or anybody else so when we investigated, it turned out that it was community police assistant. He’s also been picked and the commander,” he added.
