A shocking video which went viral showed a police officer pinning down a black Man Identified as George Floyd to the pavement with his knee on the man’s neck for several minutes, despite the black man yelling that he cannot breathe.
George Floyd, 46, died on Monday night after the white cop knelt on his neck for eight minutes while he begged for breath.
Floyd had been arrested on suspicion of forgery after an employee at a Minneapolis grocery store called police claiming he tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill, it was revealed.
MPD officer Derek Chauvin, along with two other officers, pinned him down to the hard pavement and stuck his kneel on George’s neck until he died, while officer Tou Thao stood by and did NOTHING.
Minneapolis city mayor Jacob Frey just announced four officers have been fired.
The FBI is investigating the incident. Over 19,000 people watched George as he died. He was screaming “I can’t breathe,” and asking for water, too.
