Two Ghanaian MPs test positive for COVID-19

Two members of parliament in Ghana have test positive for COVID-19 according to reports.

The news which was first reported by Starr Fm has received backing by other media houses including Ghanareport managed by ace journalist Manasseh Azure.

According to their reports, two members of parliament and 13 staff tested positive after the speaker of parliament ordered a mandatory testing for MPs and workers at the Parliament House.

As many as 690 samples was collected by health officials and after the test, 15 came out positive, 2 of which are MPs.

The names of the two member of parliament are unknown.

Few minutes after the news went viral, the director of Public Affairs of parliament, Kate Addo has released a statement to rubbish it

In the statement she said the test results are yet to be known.
