I sincerely hope y’all remember this woman y’all better say her name until you can’t say it anymore because this is a story I cannot wrap my head around this morning.
To Trista Gunter’s friends & family my deepest condolences to each of you. The heartache each of you is experiencing is so unimaginable no Engliswords can describe how you feel.
When I saw Trista’s story shared on my timeline my heart sank seeing her black eyes, and busted lip SHE WAS unrecognizable in the photos then to wake up a few days later to see she had passed away because she felt SO alone in this world after everything she went through on her OWN from this man She handled it on her own as much as she could she finally broke. She finally said “I can’t anymore” it wasn’t because she was tired that she gave up, it wasn’t because she was alone when a man puts his hands on a woman it changes your brain chemistry, trauma bonds change your brain chemistry, abuse changes your brain chemistry narcissistic abuse changes your brain chemistry & so forth what Trista endured changed her brain chemistry when she walked away & got divorced she was never the same after all she endured.
I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and I’ll tell you this girl is so free this morning she is in a whole different world walking with our King there is no doubt in my mind she is walking with Jesus because he has seen all she had endured and handled on her own & I’ll bet money she has the prettiest wings we’ve ever seen in our lives.
Trista, you are so free of worry, heartbreak, and trauma. We will see you on the other side.
