The President wore ‘cheap’ cloth to address the nation-Fella Makafui jabs (screenshots)

President Akufo-Addo is set to address the nation on Thursday, April 9.

This address was about the progress of the 14-day lockdown imposed on some cities as a measure of containing the coronavirus.

This address will be President Akufo-Addo’s fifth update for the nation since it began recording coronavirus cases.

Ghanaians have expressed their opinions on the increased number of COVID-19 cases from 313 to 378, the subsidized and/or free electricity, the extension of the partial lockdown etc but socialite, philanthropist and controversial actress, Fella Makafui chose to talk about the President’s outfit.

She explained the meaning of the President’s clothes. She opined that the shirt meant (when translated to English) – ‘I have paid all your debt for you’ and the trousers meant ‘we have reduced everything drastically ; meaning, cheap.
