Josephine Panyin Mensah, the Takoradi woman who faked her pregnancy and kidnap has begged for forgiveness
The 28-year-old woman has begged the state to temper justice with mercy.
She said she had to fake her pregnancy after losing her earlier pregnancy after 4 months.

She couldn’t have informed her husband that she has lost the pregnancy so she had to fake it with the help of her mother.
Josephine Mensah revealed that she wanted love and affection from her husband after over three years of marriage without a child for her husband.
Notwithstanding her confession and plea, DSP Kwesi Ofori says the police will still go on to prosecute her.
Meanwhile, her mother who is an accomplice has been released from police custody pending the court case.
