There is a new twist to the Takoradi kidnapping saga as the victim, Josephine Mensah becomes a suspect.
The police have confirmed that their investigation reveals Josephine Mensah planned her kidnapping.
They have named her as prime suspect for planning her own disappearance with a fake pregnancy.

This follows medical reports from the Axim Hospital which revealed that she wasn’t pregnant.
Three other people have been arrested to assist further investigation.
