Asamoah Gyan has resumed training to get back into professional football.

Former captain of Ghana Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has resumed training in his bid to get back to professional football.

The striker has been without a club after his unsuccessful stint with Legon Cities in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

Injuries made his stint at the Legon based club an unsuccessfully one but he hopes to return to good fitness for his future move.

The player isn’t ready to retire now as he believes he has more to offer in football when he is fit.

With Ghana qualifying the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, the legendary striker would want to be back on the football field so he could impress the technical team to hand give a call-up.

A possible call-up will be good for Asamoah Gyan who is currently Africa’s top scorer in the history of FIFA World Cup with 5 goals.

He has now till November to prove that he is still fit for professional football and maybe the technical team could give in a call-up

That would be great for him especially with Suarez Uruguay in Ghana’s group, he will have revenge in his mind.
