Battor Flood Victims Receive Generous Aid from St. Francis College of Education

In a heartwarming gesture on Friday, November 10, 2023, the flood-ravaged community of Battor in the North Tongu District was presented with a substantial cash donation of Ghc 10,000 and 200 branded exercise books courtesy of St. Francis College of Education.

Dr. Adwoa Kwegyiriba, the Principal of the college, conveyed the generous contribution, highlighting the institution’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, particularly in aiding flood victims in various aspects, notably education.

Emphasizing that the college’s primary mission is to train teachers for diverse communities, Dr. Kwegyiriba underscored the interconnectedness between community well-being and educational institutions.

She further articulated the importance of solidarity among Ghanaians during challenging times, emphasizing the collective responsibility to support one another.

The gracious donation found its way to the community through the hands of Mamagah Asieku V, the queen mother, who received the benevolence on behalf of the affected residents. Mamagah Asieku V expressed heartfelt gratitude to St. Francis College of Education for their compassionate gesture, acknowledging the support as a beacon of hope during difficult times.
