Following this, she dedicated eleven years as a Christian Education Consultant for West Africa at Resonate Global Mission, making significant contributions to the field.

Returning to the classroom, Sheila Dykstra resumed her role as a teacher at Calvin Christian School in Hamilton from September 2020 to June 2022. She taught kindergarten and second grade, bringing her expertise and dedication to the students.
