The one-week remembrance ceremony of the late Kumawood actor, Bishop Bernard Nyarko, was held at their family house at Ashaley Botwe-Lakeside near the Police Station and Pakoso – Asokore Mampong in Kumasi Saturday morning.
A video found online shows the one week celebration going on peacefully with the necessary Coronavirus preventive measures being observed.
In the video, the family has ensured adherence with only a few people allowed in the hall to greet the few family elders seated.
Upon entry, one goes around with their elbow to greet the elders and every one of those, present, both old and young, were spotted wearing nose masks.
The brother of the late actor, Isaac Nyarko, who made this known, said the date and venue for the final funeral rites for the late actor, who joined his ancestors last Saturday after a short illness, would be announced.
He mentioned that the ceremony would be used to celebrate the late actor’s achievement in the Ghanaian movie industry.
