Rick Goodgion Obituary, Visitation &; Funeral Service

Ricky Goodgion, 63, of E. Greene Street, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017. Visitation will be 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday, October 30, 2017 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2017, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home with Gary Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Carlsbad Honor Guard will provide military honors. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rick “Ricky” Don Goodgion was born December 21, 1953 in Lubbock, Texas to Talbot Zelmon and Joann (Edwards) Goodgion. He loved all outdoor activities – Hunting, fishing, and water sports. Ricky loved watching his New England Patriots and betting against the Cowboys.

He loved to take his Harley Davidson on cross country trips. Ricky worked hard and enjoyed it. He is preceded in death by his parents Talbot and JoAnn Goodgion.
