Reflect Michael Larose Death & Obituary – Hartford CT of BioSafe Systems LLC
Remembering Michael Joseph Larose – A Life of Dedication and Legacy
We mourn the passing of Michael Larose, a beloved member of BioSafe Systems LLC, who left us on September 21. At 40 years old, he was the eldest among the third generation of BioSafe’s founding family.
Born on September 28, 1982, in Hartford, Connecticut, Michael Joseph Larose was the cherished son of Mary Ann Larose and the late Robert Larose. He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother Mary Ann, sister Lauren Crane, brother Matthew Larose, two nieces, a maternal grandmother, and a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
Michael Larose was a graduate of Northeastern University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual major in Finance and Marketing in 2007. He also attended Assumption College.
Michael’s journey with BioSafe spanned over a decade, from 2008 to 2019, where he served as a market segment manager in the company’s agrichemical division, contributing significantly to the family-run ag chemical business. He also held positions in territory and business development for the western region. Prior to joining BioSafe, Michael worked in compliance enforcement and management at Fidelity Ethics & Regulatory Oversight in Boston.
His dedication and passion for the business saw him grow various market segments, especially in agriculture. Michael was known as a “road warrior,” traveling extensively across the country to develop business relationships and participate in industry events. In his recent role, he bridged the gap between research and marketing through content development.
The Larose family stated, “Mike was committed to fulfilling the legacy of his late father, Rob Larose, through his work and his character. Mike was a kind-hearted, generous man and a dedicated employee of the family business, and the weight of his loss is felt throughout the company.”
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael Larose cherished moments with family, friends, and co-workers. As a child, he demonstrated his work ethic by earning his own money through tasks like raking leaves, mowing lawns, and shoveling snow. Michael’s athletic prowess was evident when he made the varsity soccer team as a freshman and was part of the New Jersey State Select Soccer team. He was also a certified EMT and volunteered with the Marlborough Fire Department.
