Police CID Arrest Blogger Sammy Kay Over Le@ked Video He Ascribed To Abena Korkor And Cyber Crime Deputy Boss
Police CID has arrested blogger Sammy Kay over video viral video which trended on social media.
Blogger Sammy Kay has been arrested by Police CID over the viral video people linked to Abena Korkor.
A couple of days ago, an explicit video of a man rumored to be a bishop in one of the East African countries trended in Ghana.
Apparently, Sammy Kay media attached Abena Korkor’s photo to the man in the video’s picture and published as Deputy director of Cyber crime.
The blogger later apologized for the mistaken identity and misinformation.
Today the Cyber Security Authority has released a statement that Sammy Kay has been arrested.
The title of their press statement reads; Publication of Sexually Explicit Material and Unlawful use of Images.
He’s been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service.
