Pupils and teachers of Pakro Roman Catholic Primary and JHS have demonstrated over classroom defecation.
The school have been facing this problem for almost a decade. They come to school every morning to see human faeces in their classrooms.
Before the school would go on vacation on Friday, they held placards with inscriptions; “stop defecating in our classrooms; we are tired of cleaning faeces “ to demonstrate in the Pakro town near Nsawam.
Aside the problem with coming to meet human wastes in their classrooms, they sometimes find condoms which suggest some unscrupulous people use their classrooms as brothel. 
Some of the demonstrators had the following to say to Starr News reporters;
“We don’t have windows and doors. The classrooms are not cemented so everyday people defecate in the classroom. We have to clean faeces before class starts”
“This bad behaviour started long ago. Since I came to this community to teach every three days we record open defecation incident in the classrooms. Just this term, class one recorded four cases, class two recorded three cases, class three one case of open defecation, class four and five both recorded two cases, class six recorded one incident, then the JHS is also not spared”
