“Pharaoh, allow the children to go home” – Manasseh to Akufo-Addo
Ace journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has compared the behavior of the President of Ghana in the fight against coronavirus to biblical Pharaoh.
The pharaoh description has to do with the decision to reopen school for final year students amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Within a week 6 students of Accra Girls, one student at Berekum SHS have tested positive for coronavirus with another student dying at the KNUST SHS because school authorities abandoned him over coronavirus fears.

According to Manasseh these should sent a signal to the President to close down schools with immediate effect.

In a series of post on social media he likened the attitude to of the President to pharaoh refusing to let the Israelites leave when Moses tried to rescue them from servitude.
