Pedestrian Adolf Parker was hit and killed by an officer on I-10
The 74-year-old man who was murdered on Tuesday morning on Interstate 10 by a Mobile police officer has been named.
Adolf Parker was the person struck by the officer on I-10 at Riviere Du Chien Road at 2:16 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Mobile police.
Parker was struck by the cop, who has not been named, as he was traveling westbound on the highway. According to a press release from the Mobile Police Department, preliminary investigation revealed the officer was traveling in the inside lane when he struck Parker, who was being walked into the road.

The event took place in hazy conditions, according to the announcement.
