OFFICIAL: Press Statement From Ghana Police On The Ayawaso West Wuogon By-Election
The Ghana Police Service has released a press statement on the Ayawaso West Wuogon By-Elections.
According to the press statement, the Police Service said it attention has been drawn to the shooting incident that happened at the La Bawaleshie Presby Polling Station.
The police refuted claims that people have lost their lives.

The police stated that only 6 people got injured from the mayhem and are responding to treatments at the Legon and 37 Military Hospitals.
They encouraged the general public and voters of the constituency to remain calm.
The Press Statement however failed to touch on the assault meted on Hon. Sam George, neither did they touch on the masked armed men in Police vehicle.
