Official: Kwadwo Asamoah & Gyan benched as Akwesi Appiah Releases First XI For Benin Game
The Blackstars of Ghana kicks off their African Cup Campaign tonight in Ismaily, Egypt.
The 4 time African Champions face the Squirrels of Benin at 8 pm Ghana time in the 2nd Group F game of the day.
The coach of Blackstars, Akwesi Appiah has named his official first XI for the encounter.

General Captain, Asamoah will start from the bench, likewise assistant captain, Kwadwo Asamoah.
Jordan Ayew will lead the attack with his brother Andre Ayew behind him.
On the right and left flanks will be Christian Atsu Twasam and Thomas Agyempong.
The central midfield pair for the game is Spanish La Liga duo of Wakaso Mubarak and Thomas Partey.
In defense, We have Andy Yiadom, Lumor Agbenyenu, Kassim Nuhu and John Boye with Richard Ofori in goalpost.
