Former captain of Ghana Blackstars, Asamoah Gyan has expressed his sadness on how Nyantakyi was treated by the nation following the infamous Number 12 Exposé.

The former President of Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi had his reign come to epic ruins following a corruption scandal leveled against him by a documentary done by celebrated under cover journalists Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Kwesi Nyantakyi lost his position as Ghana Football President, African Football Vice President and Executive Committee member of World Football as a result of the Number 12 Exposé.

One year after the epic fall of Kwesi Nyantakyi, Asamoah Gyan has expressed his unhappiness on how the former GFA President was treated.

In an interview on the Joy Fm Super Morning Show, Anamoah Gyan said Nyantakyi was flying the Ghana flag high with what he was doing in football and didn’t deserve what the nation did to him after the Number 12 Exposé.

The former captain added that the corruption Exposé video didn’t tell a true story since it didn’t show what actually happened before Nyantakyi took the alleged bribe.
