No Canadian Expert was involved in rescuing the girls – Kojo Oppong Nkrumah rubbishes Dumelo’s claim
The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has rubbished claims that a team of Canadian security experts played a role in rescuing the Canadian girls.
The minister said the team that worked hard to rescue the two Canadian girls was made up of Ghanaian security personnel.
Speaking at the Press Briefing on held to announce details of how the girls were rescued, the Minister was asked about the alleged involvement of a team of Security experts from Canada.
Answering the question, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said, no foreign hand was involved in the rescue mission.
According to the minister, though Canada deployed their experts to find an alternative way to rescue their citizens, their expertise wasn’t needed as the Ghanaian team rescued the girls before the Canadian team could begin their search.
