Nigeria Gov’t make U-Turn as they announce reopening of schools
The Federal Government of Nigeria has made a U-turn on their decision to close schools and cancel all 2020 examinations.
The government earlier announced that schools will remain closed for the rest of the year and all exams to be written by final year students cancelled.
Weeks after the decision, a U-turn has been made by the federal government with a new press statement announcing that schools will be re-opened on August 4 2020.
The re-opening is for only final year students and their WAEC exams is scheduled to start on August 17, 2020.
