My wife encouraged me to return the money back to the market woman – Taxi Driver reveals

The Honest Driver who’s gained nationwide fame for his honesty has praised his wife.

Kwesi Ackon, the Taxi Driver who returned GH¢8,400 a market woman left in his car has lauded his wife’s role in what he did.

Speaking on state owned GBC, Kwesi Ackon said when he found the sack which had the smell of fishes, he thought it was a dirty napkin.

He opened it and he was amazed to see cedi notes which amount to GH¢8,400.

The fish smell made him conclude that it’s likely belongs to the market woman he picked from Mallam Atta to Teshie.

He discussed it with his wife who encouraged him to return the money to the rightful owner because keeping a thing which isn’t for you is stealing.

Despite their poor state and the fact that he drives a broken taxi which even belongs to someone, he drove to Teshie, to the house he dropped the woman only to met her crying.

 

The woman had been crying all night over her missing money and seeing the driver return it made the crying more intense.

The women was in awe as she got touched by the driver’s honesty.

Together with her entire household, they blessed the driver.
