Muntari called me to ask for a place in Blackstars squad for AFCON – Dr. Kofi Amoah

The chairperson of the FIFA Normalization Committee for Ghana Football, Dr Kofi Amoah has dropped an interesting gist about the Blackstars ahead of AFCON 2019.

Dr Kofi Amoah says he’s received a call from suspended Blackstars midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari with respective to the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

According to the current head of Ghana Football, Muntari called him, asking for a place in the Blackstars squad for Egypt 2019.

Dr. Kofi Amoah, popularly known as Citizen Kofi reveal this when he appeared on Metro Tv’s Good Evening Ghana on Thursday 9th May 2019.

The 34 years old midfielder currently at Albacete in the Spanish 2nd tier, was suspended by Ghana Blackstars following a fight with a management member at Brazil 2014.

A commission of enquiry into the Ghana Blackstars sham in Brazil ruled that he will be eligible for Blackstars if and only if he issues an apology for his role in the infamous Blackstars shame in Brazil.
