Missing Lezarius Graham found dead in Ocala,

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office found the body of a 17-year-old boy Wednesday night in a wooded area.

The teen was later identified as Lezarius Graham, the sheriff’s office said in an update.

Deputies responded to the 2100 block of NW 43rd Street in Ocala around 7:15 p.m. They say Graham had been shot. They are classifying the case as a homicide.

WESH 2 spoke with neighbors who are looking for answers.

“The day before they found the body, I heard a gunshot,” said a neighbor, who provided the name Monet.

The gunshot was heard Tuesday.

“I heard a horn honk, beep, beep, then I heard pop, that’s it,” Monet said.

“We received a call about a person finding a deceased male in the wood,” said Valerie Strong of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
