Missing Craig Hodkinson Found Dead, Body Discovered in River Croal

A body found in the River Croal has now been formally identified as missing man Craig Hodkinson.

Thirty-three-year-old Craig was last seen on Churchgate in Bolton around 5am on Wednesday 13 September

Formal identification has now taken place and it has been confirmed to be the body of Mr Hodkinson. His next of kin have now been informed.

Detective Inspector Lee Gridley said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Hodkinson’s loved ones at this very difficult time, we would also like to thank members of the public who helped with our investigation by sharing our online appeals.”
