Ministers are sharing contracts to their children who contribute nothing to NPP – Ken Agyapong rants

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has taken on Ministers serving in the Akufo-Addo government.

Speaking in an angry tone on Net 2 Television he said the behavior Ministers in the government is making the works of Members of Parliament difficult.

According to the fire brand MP, the ministers are sharing contracts to their children who contribute nothing to the party at the expense of party footsoldiers who campaign at the constituency level.

“Ministers are giving contracts to their children. I want to ask you, how many of you have your children joining the campaign in this country? We use children of other people to campaign and after the campaign, we throw them away without helping them.” – the MP said

He added that MPs have resorted to begging the party faithfuls at the constituency level to campaign for them because the party neglected them after winning power.

“Today some MPs are begging like children in their campaigns because the party didn’t help them. The Ministers are selfish and give opportunities to their people. If there is an opportunity available, the Ministers for their parochial interest give the opportunities to their own people without giving the MPs and that has been a worry.” – Kennedy Agyapong stressed
