Micah Honor Dies in Fatal Birmingham, Ala. Car Crash
A Juneau woman died in a crash into a tree off a Dodge County highway on Friday, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The crash happened about 4:45 p.m. Friday off Highway 26 south of Red Cedar Road in the town of Burnett, Sheriff Dale Schmidt said in a statement.
The initial investigation determined that Crystal Rische, 39, was driving a 2006 Buick sedan north on Highway 26 when she failed to negotiate a curve, entered the gravel shoulder, lost control and struck a tree, Schmidt said.
Rische was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, Schmidt said.
