The match awaited rematch between Mexican boxer, Emmanuel Navarrete and Ghanaian Isaac Dogboe went down on Saturday night at the Madison Square Gardens.
Isaac Dogboe called for the rematch after losing the Junior Featherweight title to the Mexican 6 months ago.
Just like the first bout, Emmanuel Navarrete had a field day, dominating almost all the 12 rounds while knocking down Dogboe twice.
In the 12 round when Emmanuel Navarrete was assured of victory, he knocked down Isaac Dogboe who still wanted to continue but his corner threw in the towel.
It was so surprising Dogboe’s corner had to wait till the 12th round to throw in the towel were their boxer was been subjected to severe beatings.
In the end, Emmanuel Navarrete defended the WBO Junior Featherweight Title with a 12 round technical knockout (TKO).
