Josephine Panyin Mensah, the lady at the center of the Takoradi Kidnapping saga was arraigned before court yesterday.
The police has charged her with two charges; deceit of a public officer (that she was pregnant ) and causing fear and publication of false news (that she was kidnapped).
She was granted a bail of GH¢50,000 with sureties courtesy as her lawyer, Fiifi Buckmam pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Lawyer Fiifi Buckman is an astute legal practitioner and a politician, having contested the Kwesimintsim parliamentary seat in 2020 on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.
Philip Fiifi Buckman hails from Gomoa in the Central Region but was born on the February 28, 1973 to Madam Comfort Appiah and Mr. John Kojo Buckman (All deceased) at Kwesimintsim, a suburb in Takoradi of the Western Region.
