Mark Wyatt Blackwell and Roy Dean Voss Died while trimming trees in Graham

Mark Wyatt Blackwell and Roy Dean Voss, both of Graham, Texas, have been identified as the victims in a Friday morning double-fatal electrical fire in Young County.

The 65-year-old Blackwell and Voss died late Friday morning while pruning trees near Graham.

Reports state that about 11 a.m. on Friday, the men were engaged in tree trimming work in the 800 block of Kentucky Street, close to Graham High School, when the basket of a Genie boom-type lift they were riding in made contact with electricity lines. The basket then caught fire.

Both Blackwell and Voss (seen in the picture) were declared dead at the site.

The men were employed by Coach’s Tree Removal & Trimming, according to social media.

The Graham Police Department is currently looking into the incident as an accident.
