Lil Win Voices Disappointment at Ghanaians Lack of Sympathy After Accident

Ghanaian comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the way the people of his own country handled him following the tragedy.

Before his film “A Country Called Ghana” debuted in the area a few months prior, Lil Win was involved in an accident in Kumasi that claimed the life of a three-year-old child.

Many Ghanaians demanded his arrest following the incident because they believed he was the cause of the mishap and should be held accountable for his conduct.

Lil Win was eventually released from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, but not before he was taken into custody and appeared in court.

Lil Win stated in his first interview following the incident that he was taken aback by the manner Ghanaians handled the situation and demanded his head in contrast to showing sympathy.

“I feel sorry for the victims when I watch accidents on television,” he remarked. Nevertheless, nobody offered me sympathy after my accident.

Instead, they pulled me while demanding my head. They gave the impression that I killed the youngster in his father’s car on purpose. I thought that others would prefer to ease my and my family’s suffering, but instead they dragged me. I asked God why He had brought me to this nation.

“After the accident, I feel like my life has been a movie.” I’m portraying the character of Ghana in the film. I’m not sure if the people who came to watch the movie loved me or not because if they did, they wouldn’t be dragging me around.
