Late Salah Magic Moves Liverpool Top Of The Premier League

Mohammed Salah ended his goal drought to send Liverpool top of the English Premier League.

The Reds came from a goal down to defeat Southampton at the Saint Mary’s.

Shane Long gave the home side an early lead in the 7th minute of the game.

Guinean International Midfielder, Naby Keita headed home a cross from Alexander Arnold to level the scores for Liverpool before halftime.

The 2nd half saw Southampton defend with their lives, making it very difficult for Liverpool to break their defense.

With 10 minutes of play left, Mohammed Salah scored a beautiful goal from a solo run to give Liverpool the lead.

The goal ended a very long goal drought which lasted for 572 minutes.

On the 86th minute, captain of the side, Jordan Henderson put the icing on the cake with a goal to make the scoreline 3-2 in favor of Liverpool.

The results means, Liverpool are now top of the league with 82 points, 2 more than 2nd place Manchester City.
