Lamar Bodrey Obituary, Retired Deputy

On May 21, 2023, Mr. Lamar “Jack” Bodrey, 76, of Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away at Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Visitation will take place at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia, on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

On May 26, 2023, there will be a graveside service at the Odom Family Cemetery on Highway 128 North in Oglethorpe, Georgia.

On Friday, at the latest by 10:30 AM, friends and relatives are asked to gather at the funeral home to form a procession to the cemetery.

In Oglethorpe, Georgia, on July 17, 1946, Mr. Jack was born to the late James Henry and Ida Dee James. Both his parents and his daughter Tawyna Bodrey died before him.
