KFC reveals exactly how their special gravy is prepared and people are scared; Vow never to eat it again (video)
A KFC worker has revealed how the fast-food chain’s much-loved gravy is made in the kitchens and people have been left horrified.
While some were put off by the way the cooks create the special recipe, others questioned whether people who did not like the look of the gravy had ever learned how the sauce is typically made.
People commented on the TikTok video, filmed in the UK, calling it ‘grim’ and one said they would never buy the gravy again after seeing that it’s made from chicken bits that have fallen to the bottom of the fryer.
The TikTok video, which has had a mixed reaction in the comments, starts off with the staff member showing how the gravy begins – with a lump of brown chicken bits which come off while in the fryer and fall to the bottom.
People took to the comments to express their disgust after watching the recipe video, with one person describing the process as ‘grim’ and another stating they will never eat the gravy again
To create the sauce, the member of staff pours a large jug of water into what they call ‘crackling’ which is stored in the fridge.

The TikTok user @cheddar4.7 said the brown substance in the tupperware pot was ‘chicken bits that come off while in the fryer and go to the bottom’.
As the brown gunge breaks down in the water, a sachet of gravy spices is poured into the tub and then whisked together.
