Kennedy Agyapong cautions Government to be careful in fighting Nigerian Traders

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has cautioned the current government to be very cautious in fighting Nigerians traders in the country.

Ghanaian traders some time past took to the business of their neighboring country particularly the Nigerians, connecting them to the numerous kidnappings occurring in the nation. The allegation was on the Nigerians since some Ghanaians felt that the majority of the capturing were the workmanship of Nigerians.

The outcome of this allegation realized mayhem and chat among Ghanaians and Nigerians. With the culprits of the seizing as well as influencing off to even genuine organizations in the nation having a place with outsiders.

The Honorable Member of Parliament for Assin North in addressing the issue on the floor of parliament made some remarkable revelations.

He said; “We have to do something about our interest rates and never in anyway make room to collapse any foreigners’ business. We travel a lot and we cannot do anything to go against foreign companies. We don’t expect same treatment to be handed to us when we move in another country to do business.

We can save Ghanaian businesses when we reduce the interest rate and we must tread cautiously so as to not jeopardize relationships with foreign companies”.
