Kofi Adams has rubbished claims that the late Jerry Rawlings died of COVID-19.
Fews a hours after the dead of former President Rawlings, GHONE TV reported that he died from COVID-19 complications.
Kofi Adams, a former spokesperson for Rawlings has rubbished the claims.
Speaking in an interview with Umaru Sanda of Citi TV on the show Face To Face, Kofi Adams had the following to say;
“As far as I know, he was just treating Malaria, COVID-19 is nowhere near any of the reasons why he was hospitalized,” he said.
“If it was COVID, we know where that treatment centre is, so he would have been sent there and doctors who attended to him would have done so fully protected with the appropriate protective wear but that was not the case.” – He added
