Jeremiah Medenwald Died In Wahpeton Fatal Vehicle Shooting

In Wahpeton on Monday, January 16, Jeremiah Medenwald was shot and killed.

At 7:11 p.m. on Monday, there were reports of gunshots heard nearby Stern Sports Arena.

The identity of Jeremiah Jeffrey Medenwald, 40, of Hankinson, North Dakota, was confirmed on Monday.

According to the Wahpeton Police Department, Monday’s incident is thought to have been an isolated occurrence, and there is now no danger to the general public.

Residents of the area around Loy Avenue and 11th Street North are also being asked by the police to check any home security cameras and report anything unusual.
