James Arthur Stovall was pronounced dead in lowa Fatal Vehicle

The dead driver in a deadly car accident that happened in Carroll County, Iowa, on Wednesday mong has been named as James Arthur Stovall of Mobile, Alabama.

Stovall, 29, lost his life in a semi-tractor-involved two-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning close to Dedham, Iowa.

According to reports, around 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Stoval was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe on Highway 141 between Coon Rapids and Dedham when, for an unknown reason, the car crossed the center line and entered the opposing lane.

Then, a 2023 International LT625 semi-tractor trailer being driven by Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, resident Derek Pittenger, 34, came into touch with the vehicle.

Pittenger was sent to a local hospital for treatment of unidentified injuries.

At the scene, Stovall’s injuries from blunt force trauma were ruled fatal.

The accident’s cause is still being looked into.
