I’ve had over 200 nominations in my career but I can only boast of one award from Ghana – Guru cries out

Apparently, every Ghanaian artiste wants to take Charterhouse to the cleaners in the aftermath of the Stonebwoy-Shatta Wale brawl, coupled with the unreasonable punishment they meted out to the aforementioned artistes.

Maradona Yeboah Adjei, known by his stage name Guru has added his voice to the ongoing issue which currently being dealt at the Accra Magistrate Court.

The Lapaz Toyota hitmaker has been one of the most hardworking musicians in the music industry with consistency which correlates with hit songs.

His comments come after the trending Stonebwoy-Shatta Wale Vodafone Ghana Music Awards fiasco and its aftermath.

According to the NKZ Record Label boss, despite having over 200 nominations worldwide in his entire career, he can sadly boast of only one award from his motherland, Ghana.

In a series of tweets Ghsplash.com sighted, he believes the sanction meted on Shatta Wale and Stonewboy were too harsh.

In 2014, Guru won Hiplife song with his evergreen hit song, ‘‘Boys Abr3’‘ at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

He tweeted; You guys been doing same to me for the past 10yrs of my career , Always coming out with funny reasons after every VGMA ????‍♂️ refusing to acknowledge the hardwork i put in. Been my own self producer for the past 10yrs without any investor but always doing a great job for y’all
