Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako, better known as Chairman WontumI has waded into the ongoing controversy concerning the legalization of Gay rights In Ghana.
According to the Self-acclaimed Kumasi Mayor there’s no need for the Western countries especially America to put pressure on Some African countries to legalise homosexuality.

The controversial chairman aired his View on his Kumasi-based Wontumi FM and he stated categorically that if indeed President Joe Biden loves members of the LGBT community, then he should willing to airlift all the gays in Ghana to the United States.
He went on to say Instead of loaning us $50 billion to develop our country he rather told us To legalize homosexual in Ghana.

“President Joe Biden should come for all the gays in Ghana. America has a vast land and he can house all of them there”.
“Instead of giving us $50 billion to develop he (Biden) is telling us another thing. We are in Africa and we know our needs and wants. Currently, we don’t need gays we need cash. I am pleading to him through his ambassador to give us money to develop our nation”, Chairman Wontumi added.
