Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has lamented about how she lost a lucrative endorsement deal because of Food & Drugs Authority.
The VGMA New Artist Of The Year says an alcoholic beverage company reached out to her to help them market their drinks but the deal fell through because of a directive by FDA.
The Food & Drugs Authority of Ghana has placed a ban on musician advertising alcoholic beverages.
This ban is an extensive which even barred media houses from running adverts of alcoholic beverages and except in the night.
According to Wendy Shay the alcoholic company tabled w deal worth $1000 only to back down after realizing there is a ban on celebrities advertising alcohol.

The Rufftown signee has urged her fellow musician to team up and fight against this ban.
