‘I did no wrong’ – NPP Tema West celebrate Carlos Ahenkorah as he justifies ballot papers snatching incident
Ghana legislator Carlos Ahenkorah has back in the news again for the wrong reason after his ballot papers snatching incident in Parliament.
The Member of Parliament for Tema West has justified his ballot papers snatching sham to NPP fans in his constituency.
Speaking to a partisan gathering he explained that the NDC’s misbehaved throughout the inauguration ceremony of the 8th parliament.
On the voting for a new speaker he highlighted how some NDC MPs destroyed the voting booth. On why he snatched the ballot papers, Carlos Ahenkorah said realizing Mike Ocquaye got 36 votes from the 138 pro NPP MPs he knew some of their people had voted for the NDC choice Alban Bagbin.
To force a re-run of the election he decided to snatch the ballot papers.

When asked the gathering whether what he did was wrong, they responded by hailing him.
