With heavy hearts, we share the solemn news of the passing of Hershel Easterling, a cherished member of our First Assembly family. Yesterday, we received the sorrowful news of his departure, and during this challenging time, we humbly request that you keep the Easterling family in your thoughts and prayers.
As they navigate through their grief, may they find strength, solace, and comfort knowing that they are surrounded by the support and love of our entire congregation. Hershel’s funeral arrangements have been made to honor and celebrate his life. We invite all members of our community to attend the scheduled services to pay their respects and offer condolences to the Easterling family.
The visitation will take place on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lomax Assembly of God in Clanton, Alabama. During this time, friends and loved ones will have the opportunity to gather, share stories, and console each other as we remember the beautiful soul that Hershel was. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, commencing at 11:00 a.m., also at the Lomax Assembly of God.
We have arranged for Reverend Randy Reid, Reverend Thurmond Cleckler, Reverend Erron Price, and Reverend Chris Newton to officiate the service, leading us in prayer and providing words of comfort. Together, we will honor Hershel’s memory, cherishing the impact he had on our lives and the remarkable person that he was.
