Government To Support Kotoko’s Africa Campaign With $150,000
The government of Ghana through the Ministry of Youth & Sports have pledged $150,000 to support Asante Kotoko.
According to a Press Statement issued by the Sports Ministry, the government from henceforth will support every club in the country who qualifies to the group stages of any of the two continental club competitions.
From the Press Statement, CAF Champions League Group participants will get $200,000 from the state.

The CAF Confederations Cup Group stage on the other hand will get the Ghanaian participant, $150,000.
Asante Kotoko will therefore get a &150,000 reward from the Ministry of Youth & Sports for qualifying to the group stages of the 2019 CAF Confederations Cup.
This initiative has been implemented to finally cushion clubs in Ghana in their bid to bring home continental glories.
