Government of Ghana to build a new Parliament Chamber at the cost of $250m
The government of Ghana is set to build a new chamber of parliament for the country.
The new chamber designed by British’s Sir David Adjaye will be a 400 seater.
The construction is set to begin on January 2019 and will cost the nation a whopping sum of $250 according to report.
The decision to build a new chamber for parliament has been met with public outrage many find this action as misplaced priority.
Strangely both the majority and minority who normally disagrees on how government uses the national purse are yet to subject this new chamber saga to parliamentary debate.
