Gospel singer Jack Alolome hot: woman vows to curse him for owing her GHS 630

A food stuff vendor is threatening to invoke curses on  Ghanaian gospel musician Jack Alolome if he does not pay off his debt owed her.

Mama Akos who sells cassava, plantain and snails along the Kumasi – Accra highway at Atwedie near Juaso in the Asante Akyem South district says the gospel musician owes her to the tune of GHS 630 being cost of food stuff and snails for the past 5 months.

In an interview with Agyemang Prempeh (Agyengo), host of Power Entertainment on Power 97.9 FM, she said Jack is a regular customer who buys from her so when he said he will return the money in few days she allowed him to take the food stuff until he started ignoring her calls.

Mama Akos said because she knew the musician she also led him to buy snails from a colleague on credit knowing he would pay on time.

She told Agyemang on Saturday that the Kumasi-based musician was playing “hide and seek” with her for the last 5 months, a situation she said she could not contain any longer.

“I have tried several times but he does not answer my calls. Anytime he answers a call and realises it’s me, he immediately ends the call,” the 43 year old woman said.

She also said ” I have waited for a very long time. I see him on whatsapp everyday but he wouldn’t answer my call. I am so frustrated that cursing him is the only way I can deal with him…I have made my mind to send him to Antoa and curse him,” the mother of 5 threatened.

The host of the show had to intervene and calm her down but she would not back down on her decision since she believed  the “Tomorrow by this time” hitmaker was not ready to settle the debt.

“My brother, I took a loan from the bank to start my business and can’t let that money go waste,” she cried.

When Agyemang raised Jack Alolome on phone to ask for his side of the story, the musician failed to speak and rather ended the call.

Before he ended the call, Alolome said: “Please I’m driving. I am on a highway driving from Takoradi so let’s talk later.”

Popular sound engineer and music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah (Fredima) who was a panel member on the show disclosed that he had earlier called the musician on phone to discuss how the issue could be resolved but he would not listen.

According to Mr Kyei Mensah, the Kumasi-based musician refused to answer his calls after their first phone conversation.

“I called Jack Alolome and told him I’m a sound engineer and wanted to intervene in the matter. He was very rude to me when I called him. He (Jack Alolome) has refused to answer my calls ever since I asked him about the matter and told him to go and pay the money. This is very bad. It will affect the gospel industry negatively,” Fredima said on Power Entertainment.
